Course Overview:
This comprehensive training is crafted to provide you with a robust foundation for your yoga journey, equipping you with expertise in the following areas:
Asana, Pranayama & Meditation (Gemma Soul & Tom Wilson-Leonard)
An immersive journey practising and methodically breaking down postures, breath and meditation techniques and practices. This foundational module sets the stage for a well-rounded understanding of the Vinyasa practice.
Yoga History & Philosophy (Tanja Mickwicz)
Connect with the roots of yoga through a captivating exploration of its rich history and philosophy. This module invites you to reflect on the philosophical aspects of yoga, deepening your connection to the broader yogic tradition.
Anatomy & Physiology (Gemma Soul)
Delve into the intricacies of the human body and its connection to yoga. Including biomechanics, anatomical structures, muscle engagements and the nervous system, discovering the impact of yoga on different systems.
Subtle Body Anatomy (Gemma Soul)
The Subtle Body Anatomy module explores the energetic dimension of yoga and the unseen layers of the self that connect mind, body, and spirit. Including exploring prana, chakras, nadis and koshas.
Ethics & Lifestyle (Gemma Soul)
Explore the ethical considerations inherent in yoga practice and teaching. This segment encourages a holistic approach, fostering a mindset that extends beyond the yoga mat into your personal and professional life.
Teaching online / digital module (Tom Wilson-Leonard)
The rise of virtual yoga has opened new possibilities for teachers to connect with students across the world. This module equips you with the skills, confidence, and tools to share yoga in the digital space with authenticity and impact.
IDEA (Sanchia Legister)
This module combines education, self-inquiry, and embodied practice to empower you to become a more conscious and compassionate teacher. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how to make yoga spaces equitable, diverse, and truly inclusive.
Bhakti (Tanja Mickwicz)
The Bhakti Yoga module explores the path of devotion or yoga of the heart. Rooted in love, surrender, and connection, Bhakti invites us to experience yoga not just as a practice of movement or mindfulness, but as a relationship with something greater than ourselves.
Teaching methodology (Gemma Soul & Tom Wilson-Leonard)
Unlock the art of effective teaching, learn how to craft and deliver engaging Vinyasa Flow classes, understand the nuances of effective communication, and explore diverse teaching and sequencing styles.
Practical Teaching Experience (Gemma Soul & Tom Wilson-Leonard)
Put theory into practice. This module provides ample opportunity to put it all together, practice your newly learnt skills, receive constructive feedback, and refine your teaching with support and encouragement.
Chanting, Mantra & Mudra (Tanja Mickwicz)
The Chanting, Mudras & Mantra module introduces you to the vibrational and symbolic practices that awaken deeper layers of yoga.
Hands on Assists (Tom Wilson-Leonard)
Navigate the business side of yoga with insights into studio management, marketing, and creating a sustainable yoga career. This module equips you with the practical knowledge needed to thrive as a yoga professional in a rapidly evolving industry.
Business of Yoga (Tom Wilson-Leonard)
Navigate the business side of yoga with insights into creating a sustainable yoga career, marketing and practical knowledge needed to thrive as a yoga professional in a rapidly evolving industry.
Trauma Informed Teaching (Nathan)
This module offers a framework for understanding the subconscious patterns that shape behaviour and response, empowering yoga teachers to hold space with greater awareness and compassion for the unique experience of each student.
